Congratulations! It took me a few days before my muscle memory gave up trying to type Twitter into the search bar every morning and evening. Or whenever I was bored and needing a fix. Once that urge is gone, though, it’ll be smooth sailing.
So what will you do with those hours now that they won’t be spent on Twitter every day?
That stinks, you’re one of my favorite follows. Probably smart of you though, I’m beginning to trust twitterX less and less myself. The app asked for my location data the other day and that creeped me out, being an anonymous non subscriber. It’s definitely not a substitute for IRL friendship and I can see how it can bring out the worst in some people. I’m very thankful to not have grown up with computers or the internet until my formative years were past. There’s so much life out there to experience instead.
Jonathan, it's Juan from Twitter. Loved this piece! I am in Fort Lauderdale up until the 1st.

It’s a relief, yeah. I removed the app from the phone to break that reflex.
Now? Hopefully I finish one of three novels I’ve started. Pointless? Perhaps. But productive!
Not pointless at all! Think about how good it'll feel to be creative with that weight lifted off of you.
Is Pale Song one of the novels?
Yes it’s the last in a trilogy I’d planned on true American crime.

We can keep in touch here without the noise!
Yes, there’s life to be had. I had to get off of it. It was contributing to my personal downfall.
