The ones with the most ears to hear their proclamations have the least capable words.
Why?
The screeching anime children who see Hitler’s monster everywhere are unserious hystericals.
That’s obvious.
But they’re empowered by the core of the culture’s most influential sectors because they make an intimidating smokescreen, an easy army to drown out any dissent that has substance. And anyone with the substance of sanity immediately recognizes the calamity of further engagement and backs down.
Woke is a just a tool for the powerful to silence their critics and act above the law. The “movement” has no intrinsic value. It seeks not to edify for universal benefit but to confuse.
Fools making fools of the most well-intentioned actors until thoughtfulness is thoroughly doubted by all.
It occupies subjects that reflexively engage our most earnest attentions only to abuse that engagement with vitriolic nonsense.
This is why its most visible and most heard leaders end up speaking literal gibberish.
We are living in a simulation, and it’s not virtual. It’s not a program. Not holographic. It’s very real.
Everything is a pretense of what it purports to be.
Art is a fallacy of expression. Politics is a deaf monologue. Community is isolated identity. Education is reductionist. Science is a belief in power.
It is the inversion of what is good and true to cover for what is corrupted to the core. It is most notable in the operations of the federal government which has become a simulacrum of the Constitution, using and abusing its wholesome language, pretending to uphold its merits while acting in direct opposition to it.
It simulates its values while behaving otherwise. Justice is dead. Truth is on the slab. Merit is a delusion. Goodness bleeds out on the altar.
This has something to do with worshipping ideals for too long: the ideal man/woman, the ideal _____ whatever it is. Also ideals embedded in the cardinal virtues. Since no real person can live up to any of this, we have been simulating them in real time and pretending, pretending, pretending to ever increasing degrees of corrupting the ideals within the pretense of them. You end up with a culture that *actually worships* actors, figures who behave and look and sound the part but are anything but. Our inadequate humanity: our flaws, our pains, our mortality, our loves and joys has/have been subsumed by the pretense of ideals, and it has hollowed us out, leaving us vulnerable to the very dark impulses of the most ruthless actors among us because nothing is (seen as) real and what is real is (seen as) unworthy so anything can be wrongfully used toward the most selfish ends. Something like this.
